第九条

EQUAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

No person 应, on the basis of 性, 比赛, 障碍, religion or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any other program or activity operated by Tishomingo County School 区 LEGAL REF: Mississippi Code 37-15-35 and 1972 Educational Amendments, 第九条; 45 CFR Part 86; 1964 Civil Rights Act, 标题六世, 1973 Rehabilitation Act, 第503节 & 504; 45 CFR Part 84. School Board policies follow federal laws related to nondiscriminatory practices in the operation of the schools, as pursuant to standard 3-1, Requirement #5. LEGAL REF: Standard 3-1, Requirement #5, Bulletin 171, Volume 11(1992).

Every pupil of the district will have equal educational opportunities regardless of 比赛, color, 信条, 性, 障碍, religion or marital status. No student 应 be excluded on such basis from participating in or having access to any course offerings, 体育运动, 咨询, employment assistance, and extra-curricular activities.

As provided under 第九条 of the Education Amendments of 1972, no person in the U.S. 应, on the basis of 性, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.

HARASSMENT PROHIBITED

This school district affirms employee protection provided under 标题六世I, and therefore “应 not tolerate verbal or physical conduct by any employee, male or female, which harasses, 扰乱了, or interferes with another’s work performance or which creates an intimidating, 进攻, or hostile environment.”

Further, this school district prohibits 性ual harassment of or by any student. This policy applies to conduct during and relating to school and school-sponsored activities. Sexual harassment is inappropriate behavior and 进攻. Any student who engages in the 性ual harassment of anyone in the school setting may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including expulsion.

EQUIVALENCE AMONG SCHOOLS

The Tishomingo County Special Municipal Separate School 区 offers a diversified educational program compatible with the needs of the community and standards of the state. The overall organizational plan of the district will be designed to facilitate the philosophy of educating every child, each to his or her fullest capacity, and to provide high quality schoolwork and experiences for all students.
